I've seen a post from motorcyclephilippines regarding the Yamaha Lexam. This motorcycle to be launched next year is a Y.C.A.T. which means yamaha compact automatic transmission. Like in any scooter like Yamaha Nouvo Z that uses a CVT this motorcycle uses a CVT and a chain and sprocket to move.
[tagalog] Yamaha combined the two great features of motorcycle. Di ba yung sa underbone eh naka chain and sprocket.
2. Mas makatipid in terms of modification. Dahil magpapalit ka lang ng gears kung gusto mo ng much torquey or powerful ride or kung mas gusto mo na matulin. change sprocket lang.
3. It also includes the comfort of a Scooter.
This might not be available this coming 2010 but we do hope we can try what really is a Yamaha CAT.
I don't have any idea what will be it's name when it landed on the philippine shore. But still again if it's yamaha it should be better.
