After my Effective Project Management at Shangri-la Makati yesterday. I have to hurry-up with my Suzuki Hayate scooter for the Blogger’s Meetup. It’s blogger.com’s 11th year anniversary and a Schedule meetup was set at the TOP SHELF of Fully Booked in Bonifacio High Street.
From Makati Shangri-la where I’m a dumb-ass on how to get out of the hotels’ Parking lot. Just to share my experience, a little excerpt will do,forbid me but I have to tell it. at the tick of 6PM my training is done. I’ve paid Php120.00 for the fixed rate. A fixed rate is only applicable if you have a stub discount fixed rate. It will cost you much if you don’t get a stub fixed rate. After the payment, I hurry back to my scooter and have it warmed up. As we all know Hotel’s like this have sophisticated unmanned parking attendants. After I have verified and paid my parking stub it’s ready to be put on test. There is an arrow on the ticket booth but when I try to push on my ticket it won’t accept my ticket. Because there is a car behind me I have to revert back and have the poor guy not to wait in vain . Another try but still no good. So I asked for helped. A guard on duty from the other side that is so far away got my attention and helped me out. Just as a tweak the Bar stopper allowed me to pass through it.
I take Ayala avenue and crossed EDSA and took the Mc Kinley road. I see lots of scooters and other riders with me. I just got a hint that they are going towards C-5 so I started to follow them. On the way to Fully Booked I stopped at an intersection of Bonifacio Highstreet. I roam around 2 times and looked for the Fully-booked shop and when I found the target. I hurriedly park my scooter this time on a manned parking security. A fixed rate of Php10 compared to makati shangri-la’s Parking of 120. Wheew..!
I go upstairs and meet with fellow blogger, Geri of www.websaytko.com and also introduce me to RIA of http://sugarsmile.blogspot.com. Have a good time meeting new friends from my online mentor jomar.
