Finally after a year of configuration and testing ABS-CBN, the Asia's most admire TV station had finally roll out their Digibox to the public. DTV or Digital Television,a high-tech standard that uses digital signals for broadcast of free-to-air content.
What we are now receiving on our houses are analog signals. Although the signals are quite ok and clear. It has come to an end. Where everyone goes digital, It seems our TV system didn’t. Abs-cbn Now finally come to a solution together with NTC. The project are soon to be rolled out this year. They are just waiting for NTC’s affirmation regarding their Digital Broadcast.
The cost of the Digibox are like buying a DVD player. Abs-cbn will include 6 channels, 2 for kids, 2 for dads and 2 for Moms, eventually the Free to air channels like channel 2 and 23 will also follow.
