MANILA, Philippines – Four days after she had herself admitted in a hospital for treatment of wounds in the hand and knees, Kapuso actress Iwa Moto was rushed to the Capitol Medical Center on Sunday, May 15.
In a report made by Lhar Santiago on “24 Oras” on May 16, the actress was said to be brought to the hospital by her closest friends in showbiz.
“Pasado alas otso, Linggo ng gabi, dinala sa ospital si Iwa Moto ng kanyang mga kaibigan matapos daw itong makitang wala malay sa loob ng kanyang kuwarto sa inuupahang apartment sa Quezon City,” Santiago reported on “Chika Minute” segment of “24 Oras.”
“Pasado alas onse ng gabi na-discharge na si Iwa sa ospital,” the entertainment TV reporter added.
According to Santiago, Moto’s ex-boyfriend businessman Mickey Ablan was also seen inside the hospital premises.
“Pasado alas nueve kagabi nang makunan ng GMA News sa emergency room ng Capitol Medical ang negosyanteng Mickey Ablan na kilalang dating boyfriend ng batang aktres na si Iwa Moto. Nakitang kausap ni Mickey ang mga ilang kaibigan ni Iwa tulad ni Bangs Garcia, na tulad ni Iwa ay naging FHM cover din. Maghahating-gabi ng nang makaalis si Mickey,” reported Santiago.
With Moto’s hospitalization, Santiago said, “Samu’t saring balita at haka-haka na ang kumakalat sa internet kaugnay ng nangyari sa aktres pero hanggang ngayon wala pang opisyal na pahayag si Iwa o si Mickey. Ayaw ding magsalita ng mga kaibigan niya na kasama nang isugod siya sa ospital.”
A report on PEP uploaded early morning of May 17 says that a close friend of Moto’s has revealed the actress was already discharged from the hospital and is already “safe.”
Just last Thursday, May 10, Moto made a scene outside the GMA compound when she smashed the windshield of her ex-boyfriend’s car. Ablan made a surprise visit to the set of Moto’s latest sitcom. A heated verbal tussle ensued. The actress was infuriated by Ablan taking her cellphone, whereafter she chased him outside GMA compound but did not find him.
