I've been to Dagupan for almost 1 month I think. After a 4 hrs ride via SCTEX on a bus. I actually rode the Bus in the morning at 8 o'clock in the morning. Since my office is located at the back of SM North Edsa. I wait for my ride at the corner of EDSA and SM North ANNEX. From there you'll be able to ride Pangasinan SolidNorth, Victory Liner and Five Stars. Among the three buses, I choose to ride Solid North. Their buses are Yutong Buses which I think are from China. I'm trying to do some research but my wild guess is China. The ride was smooth and comfy. Air-conditioning is cold as ice. As I reminder to you, Please bring your jacket. During the 4hours travel there will be 2 stopovers. If you ride the bus with a signboard, Dagupan-San Fernando. It will stopover to San Fernando Robinsons Starmills and SM San Fernando. I think only 5minutes of stopover in order to drop-off passenger. Then the Next stopover will be at Capas Tarlac near Siesta Mall. Victory Bus had their own stopover terminal. This time it would be a 15 minute break. It's the best time for a Pee break. When I'm alone I used to bring my bag along with me. It's better to be safe unless you have somebody to look over it.
After two hours you'll reach your destination. I stay in Luxor Hotel. A little more cozy compared to an apartment we have when we started the project here. The rates are economical. If you are planning to go to Baguio and manage to stop by Dagupan. This is a good way to stay for a night. I think I paid for 900 for a Twin sharing and 950 for a Triple sharing. The Hotel is near Nepo Mall where you can buy some food and groceries. There is also Mercury Drug at the Ground floor of the Hotel. You can also find 7/11, Mc Donalds and Jollibee along Arellano Avenue.
I'll be posting another blog on what to do here in Dagupan. See you.
