Another Kymco scooter but now it’s not a Sporty Type Scooter. Equipped with a vespa-like retro design scooter. This “Kymco Like 125” is the new retro Scooter of Kymco.
The Kymco Like 125 is equipped with dual shocks at the rear. Doing a change on the Shocks would help if you find the ride a little bumpy for you try changing it with aftermarket shocks. I find the seat ergonomics. Ergonomics in terms of riding position.The Kymco Like 125 shares the same engine with the Kymco Super 8. Getting your Like 125 for a more faster acceleration will have abundant parts upgrades.
For the Kymco Like 125’s headlight is a H4 compatible bulb. Fitting a Vikousi or Bosch HID is a really great Light Upgrades. The odometer panel of this scooter is a retro-analog type meter. Just the same with the Kymco Super 8 with trip meter that you can push every point in a distance. It also came along with a Box. It’s another catch for this scooter that they have included such external box.The Topbox construction however is definitely not givi-sturdy.
I like it! From an estimate a fullface helmet with fit on the rear box. By the way, the Ignition,seat access and rear box shares the same ignition key. Voila!Another accessory I notice is the lighter socket on the front storage.
The rear tailights is equipped with clear lens. and the dimensions are very big. It looks like it can be fitted on a car. Kidding!
Scooter really have a hard-time beating the heat so Kymco decided aesthetics and functionality should go hand in hand. They out a ventilation on from going the the floorboards,It also sends air on the engine. Making it more reliable and overheat-free.
I just notice some parts on the scooter like the brackets and part of the swingarm could be more of better quality instead.
This bike is also paired with two disc brake.It’s the good thing that makes it stand out from the crowd.Definitely this scooter has a small wide tires. That is what a scooter should be.A cruiser scooter with 8 liters of gasoline capacity.
For P78K, its a good value.
