This is the question that stuck in my mind. A PNSERs asked this in the forum. Photography had been a hobby to many. Some became a job and a profession to others. I find it healthy on sharing their knowledge and HOWTO’s on capturing Scenic views using their Point and Shoot Camera.
To give you a small background regarding PNS.I own a PNS camera (Point and Shoot) but not with the Sony Cybershot that you can’t do Manual aperture settings and shutter. PNS camera are camera’s with permanent lens but can do manual override.
So where do I go from here? After a numerous photowalks and challenges. You begun to develop the skills of a Photographer. The skills that after sometime was matched with your Camera has now became a Mismatch. You are eager to have dSLR or something far more better than your PNS. In my humble opinion, They do differ. Aside from Value for money. It’s another level where you as a photographer would find again the joy and happiness of photography.
For me I think my PNS camera is worth my skills. What purpose I do with it matters. I ‘m not a photoblogger but I’m starting doing it and who knows maybe 2-3 years from now I’m also do a level up. What matters most is that PNS or dSLR you have, it brings you to the destination you want to be.
