I’ve been reading the manual for the ASUS P6T se motherboard. It amazes me somehow on what this motherboard can do especially for an ordinary gamers that plays Halo and other High Resource on Graphic Processing.
Actually it was a recommended board from a software company. I was given a task to assemble a demo unit for the engineering Dept. Unluckily, the Asus P6T WS was not available and only the SE( second edition). The board is using the X58 Intel chipset made for the gamers. As for the Purpose on why we use X58 chipset is because we will be rendering alot of Moving graphics on this board. The Asus P6T SE is a CrossFire-X technology. ATI CrossFireX™ is the ultimate multi-GPU performance gaming platform. Enabling game-dominating power, ATI CrossFireX technology enables two or more discrete graphics processors to work together to improve system performance for the Ultimate Visual Experience.
I’ve also notice that based on the manual I need to calculate the power of the PSU I need. With the Asus tools I can actually get the minimum requirements:

I’m now reading the How-to for the raid configuration and do some test on whether a Crash hardisk fail what should I do.
I think we will be having great time with this Monster board for quite sometime.
