By accident I will be attending Broadcast Asia in Singapore this June 21-26,2011. What to do with this exhibit? I really don’t know what to do there… Maybe hmmmm a quick tour again in SG. I was there last April when I bought a Fiber DVI cable from Kramer. Together with Colleague Harold Arriola.
What I like about Singapore’s busy street is that its clean air surrounding. Friendly people and a Fine City in Asia. We actuall got the job done quick but the only problem is looking for that DVI to VGA converter. We took Sim Lim mall, it’s a electronic store that caters Cellphones, Games and other electronic gadgets, etc. Way back 2007, when I have my training on Videoserver architecture in Seachange. Singapore is not that crowded.I got amazed after 4 years that a big leap of its resources had been converted into industrial zone. I remember there where lots of trees during that time and now I see a lot of Condo units being built.
Well going back to my story, on seeking that DVI to VGA. So we weren’t able to get the unit. And we basically lost the time to roam around the Metro. I like Mustafa. Shopping on a 24 hour open mall is a reality in SG. It’s cool I think and I love it. Good to know now I’ll be going back to SG and in a 7 days duration. I hope I can grab a little more time to spend shopping. Which It seems not possible. Well, still work is a priority. I might grab a lot of information there and check out new products. A tour here and there. Check for new gadgets like Ipads, and Iphone. Check some new Xbox and PSP’s. I like to check again sentosa. Their Theme park. Not to mention the, the newly open Universal Studio. Wheeew… I think I need to make an exercise to get ready for a lot of work and walking time in SG.
All expense paid. Now I change my motto.. If Its free I go, If its not you GO! I still handle Etere automation and some transcoder softwares. I hope to check on IPTV at CommunicAsia. I think this new product line will be the start of a new Broadcast dimension here and in the whole world. So it would be better to do a check and do a lot of criticism regarding their architecture. As of the moment, I’m thinking of reading a lot of info on this subject matter. IpTV, What the world will be 5 years from now? is this the start of IP Broadcasting. I’m happy getting this career boost. Love to know and explore more.
