That was 2005 when I transfer to a new job. All else was ok because I was just starting a family. I didn't know the need for such company benefits like HMO. However, now that my daughter is suffering from asthma it was now another side of the story.
Nakakainis at nakakabadtrip talaga kung nakikita mo ang anak mo na nahihirapan at hindi mo maitakbo sa ospital dahil nagdadalawang isip ka,baket?
Eh kasi baka umabot na naman yung Hospital bills mo sa langit ng utang. Last 2008 i spend 60k for the hospital bills. Kaya nga siguro napagusapan na din sa opisina na magkaroon na ng HMO for the whole family. However sad to say, sumablay sya dahil sa mahal daw ang maisama ang buong pamilya.
I asked, the people who are involved in looking for such HMO company and it's a whooping 200k for the whole employee.
So then the company decided not to take it, instead, they just give the half of the employee's benefit and use it for their medicines and check-up. I have mine for 5k. Ito na lang yung sumobra kasi.
I really got dissappointed at that point. How would I imagine that this company is willing to take a 200k -3 day vacation but not to approved a 200k -365 benefits.
They can have the best comprehensive insurance for a car but not for the company benefits. I work at my best in this company to be an asset. However I also want my company to be an asset for ME. It should be a two-way communication. I have done my part please do yours.
Sir/ma'am- please lang po ayusin nyo po ang kumpanya. Get the standard. Improve it and then you will know you have earned them.
I'm currently still working my way out. There are much better companies out there that I can have though I was hesistant because I'm giving this company a chance. A chance to change for the better. or I might be a cow again..
Looking for a greener pasture. I hope the company improve. I have raised this concern but I rather not too.
